Weekly Watch Focus: Our Family, Our Church

FRIDAY, October 7, 2011. Pray for our families and God’s corporate family—His Church. Put the blood line around our homes and cry out for God on behalf of our children. Break the yoke of generational curses. Let us also cover in prayer our churches, which are under attack from strongholds resisting the Gospel of Christ, especially put a prayer covering over the leadership. May God supply every financial need so the Church will be strong to extend the Kingdom.

We continue to pray for Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, God’s servant under the Iranian court’s death sentence. May God keep watch over him and his family.

We also honor Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Hebrew Calendar, and the atoning work of the Blood. We bless Israel as it celebrates the Day of Atonement, praying God’s angels keep watch over their borders.

Eph. 3:9-10, "The plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things, 10so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places."

Phil. 4:19, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

Matt 16:18, “And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Ps 115:14 "May the Lord give you increase, you and your children!"

Prov. 14:26 In the fear of the LORD one has strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge.

Deut. 28:2-6 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the LORD your God. 3Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. 4Blessed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock. 5Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. 6Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

Lev. 23:1, 27-28, "The Lord said to Moses, "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'These are my appointed feasts, the appointed feasts of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies…'The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves, and present an offering made to the Lord by fire. Do no work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the Lord your God.'"; Lev. 17:11 "For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life."
