Weekly Watch Focus: The God of Grace

FRIDAY, August 5, 2011. Let us turn our faces toward the God of all grace. Even though we deserve judgment, through the complete work of Christ at Calvary and His shed blood, let us plead for mercy on behalf of ourselves, our families, our churches and nation. Over the next seven days let us especially welcome Him as:

Jehovah Rapha—The Lord our Healer (Ex. 15:26)
Jehovah Jireh—The Lord our Provider (Gen. 22:8)
Jehovah Nissi—The Lord our Banner of victory, love and protection (Ex. 17:15)
Jehovah Shalom—The Lord our Perfect Peace (Judges 6:24)
Jehovah Tsidikenu—The Lord our Righteousness and Faithful Guide (Jer. 23:6)
Jehovah Shammah—The Lord is There – with us everywhere (Ez. 48:35)
Jehovah Sabaoth—The Lord of Hosts, Captain of Armies, our Protector (Josh 5:14, Ps 24:10)

Jn 1:17 For while the Law was given through Moses, grace (unearned, undeserved favor and spiritual blessing) and truth came through Jesus Christ (AMP).

Rom 3:24 [All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus (AMP).

Heb. 4:6 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

2 Cor. 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

Eph. 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Ex. 12:13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

Eph 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Titus 2:11-13 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Ps 84:11 For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly (AMP).
