Weekly Watch Focus: Christ is Risen! —Our Easter Triumph

April 19, 2019, May the Risen Christ, radiant in Glory, invade our hearts, giving a zeal for the lost, mercy for the poor, and joy in His resurrection. Pray that salvation and deliverance will come to every nation, every tribe, and every language through Jesus, our Passover Lamb. Declare His Lordship over our lives and over our nation. In the authority of the resurrected Christ, bind back the powers of anti-Christ and every spirit of the thief, robber, and destroyer. Confidently proclaim fresh waves of resurrection glory and victory to wash over our nation and the nations with deliverance from every shadow of oppression, depression, infirmities, and generational curses. Continuously praise and thank our risen Savior, Jesus Christ. May He permeate us so that we bring His fragrance everywhere at all times.

Part 2: Pray for France and the People of Paris: Notre Dame Cathedral

We join with Christians across the world in praying for the people of Paris and all of France following the devastating fire at Notre Dame Cathedral. As the nation mourns, we pray comfort. May the Lord raise up out of the ashes of this iconic Cathedral a mighty wave of revival that will touch France and all of Europe to awaken His Church. We pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to resurrect the seeds sown in past generations in a great harvest of souls and transformation.

Revelations 1:5-8, “Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,’ says the Lord, ‘who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.’”

2 Timothy 2:8, “Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel.”

Joel 2:23-25, “Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God; for He has given you the former rain faithfully and He will cause the rain to come down for you—the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.”
