Weekly Watch Focus: Hurricane Dorian—Rebuke the Storm

Friday, August 30, 2019—Hurricane Dorian is expected to intensify to a Category 4 storm in the next few days before striking the Florida coast. Pray for Florida and the Southeastern region currently in the hurricane’s path. Rebuke the storm and speak shalom to the winds. Bind the destructive forces of this storm. Pray for safety and put a hedge of protection over everyone in its path.

Mark 4:39, “And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, ‘Peace! Be still!’ And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”

Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”

Psalm 29:10-11, “The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood, and the Lord sits as King forever. The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.”

Part 2: Israeli Elections

Israel will be holding general elections on September 17th that are critical for Israel’s continued security and prosperity. Pray protection for candidates and voters. Pray that Israeli voters will have divine wisdom to vote for the candidates that will keep their nation safe from existential threats and will continue policies that will keep Israel prosperous. Pray for peaceful elections and bind back all fraud and manipulation that would try to defraud voters and sway the elections. Pray that Israel will vote for a leader and a government that will keep Jerusalem as Israel’s undivided capital, maintain a prospering economy and a strong defense against its many enemies. Benjamin Netanyahu has been a great friend and ally for America. We pray special covering for his physical safety and put a shield of protection from false accusations around him and his family.

Psalm 28:9, “Save Your people, and bless Your inheritance; shepherd them also, and bear them up forever.”

Psalm 25:22, “Redeem Israel, O God, out of all their troubles!”

Jeremiah 31:33, “But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

Psalm 122:6-7, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.’”
  
Part 3: 21-Day Corporate Fast: Increase for Families
 “May the LORD give you increase more and more, You and your children.” – Psalm 115:14

We proclaim in faith—this is a year of increase for every family. We pray for an increase in marriages, increase in children, increase in provision, and increase in family breakthrough, blessing, and prosperity. Bind the spirit of delay and break the power of barrenness. Pray that every family flourish in body, soul, and spirit more and more.
