Friday, May 7th, 2021 — 

ARISE, MOTHERS IN ISRAEL

My son, hear the instruction of your father, And do not forsake the law of your mother; for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck. Proverbs 1:8-9

This Sunday we celebrate Mother’s Day. The Word of God instructs us to honor our fathers and our mothers. Moreover, it tells us that this commandment is the first that comes connected to promises God makes to bless us. In this age, the spirit of the world disregards and dishonors our elders, luring our generations to cast off righteous virtues and instruction, calling good evil and evil good. As followers of Christ, we flatly reject this wickedness. We honor our fathers and mothers AND WE BLESS THEM.

Speak a blessing over all mothers, both natural and spiritual, in your church and community. Thank you, Father God, for giving us mothers and spiritual mothers. Bless them with fresh grace and renewed strength! May they mount up with wings as eagles, may they run and not be weary, and may they walk and not faint.

The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. . . .  He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. . . .  But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:28-31

Awake, arise, mothers in Israel. We pray mothers and spiritual mothers arise in the Holy Spirit NOW! Awake Deborah! Take your place to lead your children and spiritual children, to rebuke wickedness and godlessness. Be anointed to instruct, to mentor, to illuminate the truth of Jesus Christ, and to transform this culture with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, pour out Your Spirit on our mothers! ARISE, DEBORAH!

The highways were deserted, and the travelers walked along the byways. Village life ceased, it ceased in Israel, until I, Deborah, arose, arose a mother in Israel. Judges 5:6-7

Ephesians 6:2, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with promise.

Exodus 20:12, Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

PRAYER FOR OUR POLICE

We are committed this month of May as a network of intercessors to pray for our embattled police officers. We have asked them to put their lives at risk to uphold the laws we want enforced, to pay perhaps the ultimate price in order to protect the innocent and the weak from being victimized and abused. This current cultural attack against these defenders of the defenseless is evil.

For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood (contending only with physical opponents), but against the despotisms, against the powers, against (the master spirits who are) the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. Ephesians 6:12 (AMP)

We release angels to surround our police officers and their families to cover them and protect them from any evil plans to harm them.

When the wicked came against me . . . they stumbled and fell  . . . For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. Psalm 27:2, 5

We declare over our police officers and law enforcement that they find supernatural favor with the communities they serve. May they be endued with justice, truth, wisdom, and mercy.

Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man. Proverbs 3:3-4
