Watch Focus: Bind Back Violence
Pray for our cities for the coming months of this year. Bind violence. Commission angels to thwart criminal activities including drug trafficking, bribery, and corruption at every level. Decree that the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous. Pray for honest businesses to prosper. Pray for the safety of our children and our schools. Bless those who minister in our inner cities, and pray for God’s mantle of peace, love, and reconciliation. May wounds be healed and broken lives restored. Spread a prayer blanket of peace over our cities. Pray for government leaders and the heads of various municipal departments that keep order. May have wisdom to combat the forces that have allowed crime and violence to rise. Pray for the protection of law enforcement. Pray for the vulnerable neighborhoods and loose God’s angelic host to protect the innocents. May a wave of revival to sweep through our cities, restoring lives and homes.
Jeremiah 29:7, “And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
Psalm 125, “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity. Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts. As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them away with the workers of iniquity.”
Deuteronomy 20:4, “for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.”
Isaiah 35:10, “And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”
Psalm 85:6-7, “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord, and grant us Your salvation.”

Humbly pray that God’s mercy will restore and strengthen the U.S. economy. Some signs of easing inflation are starting to show, but troubles with the banking sector and real estate markets have increased uncertainty in the economic outlook. |

“The truth and effectiveness of the cross is simple enough for a child to enter fully. What actually happened when God reconciled the world to Himself is a mystery we shall keep discovering for all eternity. |

We come to the holiest of weeks and to Palm Sunday with honor and gratitude to Jesus our King. As Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey, He was about to offer Himself as our Atoning Lamb of God. |
