Hurricane Harvey Relief

Our hearts and prayers go out for everyone affected by Hurricane Harvey. Thousands of people have had to evacuate their homes. Countless more are without basic necessities of food, clean water, and shelter. CMI is working with local ministries on the ground to provide aid to those devastated by Harvey. Donate here to help. Join us as we pray.

What we are doing:

Delivering food and supplies to Rockport, Portland, Port Aransas, and Goliad, TX (so far have helped deliver 500 lbs of cooked brisket and 3 tons of supplies).
Sponsoring family who lost everything in flooding to get back on their feet.
Supporting construction teams to help with restoration.
Sending supplies from Charlotte area to Houston.

Prayer:

God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob we stand in the gap for our brothers and sisters in Texas. God of all comfort, visit every family who has lost loved ones, homes, or property in this ravaging storm and flood. Though the mountains shake and the seas rise, Lord, You are unchangeable and a steadfast. Your eye is on the sparrow, and your eye is on every individual suffering at this time. Meet their every need. Open hearts to give aid those in need. Heal everyone wounded in body and soul. We release your shalom and bind trauma and fear.

Strengthen every volunteer, first responder, local and federal agent who have mobilized to help in this crisis. We pray for Texas and the areas affected by this storm to recover all! Holy Spirit, come pour out Your Spirit that overshadows every other flood with healing, cleansing, and restoration. Release a wind of Your Spirit that brings resurrection life and recovery. Revive us, Oh Lord. Revive Texas. Restore and refresh our land.
