Watch Focus September 13th, 2024: 40 DAY FAST FOR VICTORY, September 3rd to October 12th

According to the pattern in Joel, we are giving 40 days to fast and cry out to the Lord, between the porch and the altar, that the Lord will restore our land. We join together corporately as the body of Christ, in fasting and prayer, wielding authority we declare Christ’s VICTORY over the enemies of God, in the name of Jesus of Nazareth! Jesus’ finished work at Calvary is the pillar by which we can enter His triumph. He became a curse that we might be redeemed from every curse, oppression and stronghold into the blessings of Abraham and His poured out Spirit.

Week II, Pray for Israel, the Apple of God’s eye

The Lord instructs us to “give Him no rest till He establishes Jerusalem as a praise in the earth” (Isaiah 66:7). Our spiritual heritage and prophetic destiny are joined to Jerusalem, the Jews, and Israel. The happenings in Jerusalem give us a prophetic pulse of God’s heart. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Bless Israel and pray for God’s protection from her enemies that threaten both within her borders and abroad. God promises to bless those who bless Israel, and curse those who curse her. May God give us leaders in every level of our Executive, Legislative and Judiciary branch of government including our State Department that will be passionately loyal friends to Israel. May God remove the haters of Israel so that our nation will not come under a curse. We pray for the peace of an undivided Jerusalem.

Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Isaiah 62:6, “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”

Lord Deliver Us From the Evil One

In recent days we have seen some wonderful testimonies out of our local church family of God’s deliverance them from evil and potentially life threatening circumstances. We press in to the Lord’s Prayer on multiple levels for us individually and corporately, for our families, churches, cities, regions and Nations and for Israel.

“And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” Matthew 6:13

Psalm 34:7, “The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him,
And delivers them.”

2 Timothy 4:18, “And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!”

Acts 12:5-10,
Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison. Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands. Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.” So he went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. When they were past the first and the second guard posts, they came to the iron gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own accord; and they went out and went down one street, and immediately the angel departed from him.

Psalm 91:7-12,
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

Psalm 27:5,
For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.

In the upcoming days of the fast:

Week III, Revival and the Harvest of souls

Pray for personal, church and national revival. Pray for the restoration of our godly foundations. Pray for restoration in every family, every neighborhood and every city. We are asking the Lord for permanent revival that will sweep across America, sweep across denominational lines and bring in world-wide harvest. Joel 2 promises us spiritual rains of the Spirit of God in the last days: the former and the latter rains! We are praying for this outpouring to come and wash our land, restore the foundations and turn America back to her God-given purpose. That the godly roots of our Judeo-Christian foundations would be restored in every area of American society. That the inheritance of the church, signs, wonders, miracles, healings, deliverance and salvation would be restored in our nation and go out to the nations for a great harvest.

Pray for an outpouring of glory in signs, wonders and miracles in your church, your city and our nation. May God open the heavens over our outreaches and evangelism, demonstrating the power of the Gospel and delivering His people from darkness with signs and wonders. May God pour out His Spirit and renew the face of the earth in the greatest awakening this world has ever seen.

Genesis 28:16, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”

Jeremiah 32:21 “You have brought Your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and an outstretched arm…”

Week IV, Families, marriages, and children

Pray for our families, marriages, and children. We pray for personal and family victory and a breaking of every generational curse on our family lines.  Bind the spirit of divorce that has attacked the church, our families, and our nations, intending to rob the kingdom of God. Pray for breakthrough and blessing for our children, that they will be the head and not the tail. Pray for their physical safety, and appoint angels to guard them. Pray for restoration of relationships and salvation for grown children who have strayed from the Lord. Pull down the strongholds of witchcraft and antichrist over the land and release the Spirit of the Father. Humbly repent for abdicating our responsibility to preserve our Godly identity as a people, failing to discern holy from unholy and wavering in His eternal values. May we turn our hearts to our children in this fast, praying for an awakening that will break the spirit of enchantment that has tried to steal their godly heritage and inheritance.
Malachi 4:5-6, “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”

Week V, Focus to be determined as the Holy Spirit leads.

Week VI, Thanksgiving to God
Lift up a shout of praise to the God who gives us victory! Make a habitation for His glorious presence with your praises and celebration. Aggressively give thanks and praise Him for His victory! Bless the Lord and begin to enumerate His exceedingly abundant blessings, expressing gratitude for His goodness and mercy toward us.

Psalm 22:3 “Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.”

Psalm 106:1, “O give thanks to the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endures forever.”

Previous Weeks

Week One: National Elections
God is not mocked. In this era of modern humanist deception declining deeper and deeper into plain open luciferian worship of ancient orders of fallen gods, with a demonic rise in the spirit of Jew-hatred, with the boastful, rampant murder of babies in the womb, with corruption and perversion on proud display on national and global levels, with wars and rumors of wars, economic distress, and family and church breakdown on scales never before seen, we join together in a corporate body as the bride of Christ and humble ourselves in this season of fasting and prayer and proclaim, it is not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit there is VICTORY!

2 Chronicles 20:15, “Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”

2 Corinthians 10:4-5, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”

Matthew. 18:18-20, “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Micah 5:12, “I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.”

Psalm 75:10, “All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.”
These national elections are crucial for America and for the world. Powers of darkness have tried to tear out our godly roots through the halls of our governing officials. We pray that God raise up the righteous and pull down the wicked at every level of our government, but especially in the presidential election for the leader of this land. Our heart is to raise up the leader of God’s choosing that would be pleasing to Him. 1 Timothy 2 instructs us to pray first of all “for kings and all who are in authority.” Seek God’s face on behalf of our nation. Pray that He will give us a President that is of His choice rather than the choice of a manipulative media. Pray that people who boldly stand for our Judeo Christian values and the heritage of our nation’s founders will be elected to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. “Lord give us leaders such that it will be for your glory to give us the victory through them.”

1 Timothy 2:1-2, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.”

Psalm 37:39-40, “But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from

Deuteronomy 16:18, “You shall appoint judges and officers in all your gates, which the LORD your God gives you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with just judgment.”

Proverbs 8:15, “By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice.”

Psalm 75:7, "But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another."

Proverbs 22:28, “Do not remove the ancient landmark which your fathers have set.”
